The Experience

Patiently I check for you to come forward With red roses and a heartfelt apology Stop making this silence more awkward And start healing my psychology. Time has taken its toll on me My body doesn't feel like mine There will be an answer, let it be And all the stars will begin to align. Is it wrong of me to feel this way That when we came together, it was destiny Did they hold you hostage everyday? The truth will set you free definitely. Me and you we could be heroes WE could have made a difference Let's take turns in retrieving the arrows Cause this virus has a lot of persistence. I know that my actions still have meaning I think we're gonna be alright Someone stop the bleeding After all, you were my only delight.

All around me is water It feels like I just fell Can I ever make it out? Only time will tell. Am I really drowning Or floating at the top I cannot comprehend All I know is I have to make it stop. Am I a blur underwater Are you trying to flee Or are you reaching your hand I can't really see. The level of water feels the same It's just me falling further down Guess there is a force above  Saying that I'm not on my own. I just want to cling to your tip Pull me up faster than everything else and hold me bare Show gravity that you are stronger And give the world a better story to share.       

Honestly I'm just tired. Tired of having to work really hard and not being able to see any of that produce fruit. Why is it that victory suddenly seems so distant and difficult when it is actually closer than before?! Why is it that we cannot accept that we make mistakes and that we are perfectly imperfect? All these unanswered questions lingering in my head make it all the more harder to focus on the more important things like family and God.  But there is another part of my mind that constantly reminds me that it's okay to take wrong decisions sometimes and that its the only way we learn! Speaking of our minds, isn't it amazing how a small part of the mind which is the brain takes care of all the emotions and commands cells! If something so small is capable of handling so much stress and negativity ( literally with other ions ) how much more can our entire soul be able to handle? One smile maybe just one smile is all it takes. Have you ever been really down and depressed and suddenly one pat on the back or one kind gesture makes you feel a whole lot better? That's the beauty of human nature. Even when everything in your life looks like its not going to get better, your heart still chooses to accept that emotion. Sometimes we aren't in a state of mind where we can tangibly feel the positivity, but it is there. It definitely is. I believe everyone has that one person in their life who can constantly lift their spirits up. When that person is around, you can't help but feel good on the inside. What makes them different from others? It's the way they look at life that draws your attention. They are able to see and dream the things you never thought actually existed.
